Fusing nature with the precision of scientific observation in graphite and charcoal pencil.

Still life studies and natural subjects are things I’ve enjoyed since I started drawing. My favorite part is knowing that a well-preserved drawing can outlast the lifespan of the subject.

This drawing was completed with 6B, 3B and HB graphite pencils, a vinyl eraser and an awesome reference by photographer, Kevin Biskaborn

Loons have always reminded me of some of my favorite trips to the Washington islands. The reference for this drawing came from the talented designer and photographer, Kevin Biskaborn
