A program, sponsorship materials and event signage designed and illustrated to raise money for children’s hospitals.
The Northwest Credit Union Association hosts an annual gala and auction to raise money for CU4Kids. In 2019, I pitched 3 different concepts for the Masquerade Ball themed dinner and auction. One concept came out ahead and I was able to apply it across all print and digital materials for the event.
The Northwest Credit Union Association hosts an annual gala and auction to raise money for CU4Kids. In 2019, I presented 3 concepts for the Masquerade Ball themed dinner and auction. One concept stood out to the committee and I applied it across all print and digital materials for the event.
The evening program set the tone at the formal table settings for the auction. Thinking about the event space colors, motifs and elaborate lighting, I designed a booklet with a premium feel I knew would compliment the room aesthetic.
The program exterior was a heavy, pearlescent cover stock with foil applied to all the gold details. Inside, the pages were a text weight pearlescent paper that shimmered – especially on pages with a lighter ink.
From gift card vouchers, to silent auction signs to tickets, the design concept was carried out for every touch-point.
These gift cards went with the large gift card board.
In addition to gift cards, there were opportunities for signage in other areas of the event. I collaborated with a committee to identify the signage needs. Designing the layout and completing the illustration for these posters and signs was fun!
Excitement for the masquerade ball was generated as the NWCUA began seeking out sponsors. This vinyl decal was designed to be quickly updated. It was then printed to adorn the convention center’s walls and show the credit union’s support.
I enjoyed working with committee members to move my design and vision for the ball forward. It was an honor to be a part of such a great event. The 2019 auction was successful and the NWCUA exceeded their goal by raising over $871,000 for hospitals part of Children’s Miracle Network.
